When I first started Rocksalt Metalworks, working with metal alone was the passion driving me. Over some time I realized that while my work was fullfilling, my imagination wasn’t being satiated. I was creating other people’s vision and neglecting my own. But I was also struggling with what I wanted my vision to be. What did I want to create?
That question vexed me for weeks!
So one evening as I geared up to watch some Star Trek episodes on Netflix I looked at my playlist and said to myself, “Wow I have a lot of sci-fi stuff on here. Hehe, space would be a cool theme.”
For some reason saying that statement outloud felt like I’d hit myself with an inspirational brick.
I decided at that moment: Space it is.
